Hi guys!

I’ve talked about how much I love Cetaphil many times in the past, and when I needed a new face wash I knew I would reach for the one I’ve been using for the past couple of months. However, when I got to the store I saw that Cetaphil had a new foaming face wash, so I decided to try that instead. Read on to find out how I liked it!

I was really excited about this cleanser because I usually steer away from foam but I’ve heard that foaming products can be good for your skin because they cleanse without stripping away too much moisture.

When I first used the face wash, everything went well. I liked the feeling of the foam, and the pump distributed a good amount of product. The problem arose at the end. After drying my face with a washcloth, I realized that my skin felt…odd. I chalked this up to the fact that I wasn’t yet used to the new formula, and went to bed.

I tried the face wash the next night and had the same problem. My skin didn’t feel clean, and it almost felt as if there was still some product left on my skin, even though I thoroughly rinsed afterwards. When I went online to check what other people thought about the product, I found that a reviewer had the same feelings that I did.

I feel like because this cleanser is meant to be gentle, it may not have the the cleansing power that I need. I wouldn’t be re-buy this, but I do feel like this would work for some who wears less makeup than I do, or that doesn’t have oily skin.
